Michael Kania, an Associate Director of Marketing Analytics at Kepler, will host the program throughout the duration of the two-week sprint. A graduate of Villanova University, the Philadelphia native boasts broad ranging exposure in mobile app and web development, graphic design/video production, and extensive professional expertise in digital marketing and applied analytics.

The past year has been one of constant adaptation, re-imagining and virtual accommodation. Through all of this we have changed our expectations of education and work. Unfortunately, internship programs have been dropped by organizations across the city during this time leaving thousands without an opportunity for professional, personal and network growth.
The Philly Startup Sprint is a non-profit that aims to help replace the lost opportunity for across the Greater Philadelphia Area by providing a free 5 day, rapid learning & exposure program. During the course of these 10 days we will be providing focused training, group learning and the opportunity to meet and connect with experienced leaders from Philadelphia startups and established professionals. During the course of the program up to $1000 will be awarded to participants excelling in various integrated educational competitions.

How does it work?
Digital Internship Experience
The application is open to any individual to apply by July 15th, and thirty individuals from varying backgrounds will be selected to participate in our five day, all-digital program.
Each day our program class will receive an hour long training from subject matter experts, participate in an applied group project with fellow program members, and take part in an hour long Q&A with startup founders and business leaders. Each day the top projects will be rewarded from the PSS Program Fund.
At the culmination of the program, participants will leave with an introduction to necessary skills to grow their professional career as well as an expanded professional network.
